Intuit
VP, Global Business Development
Nov 2018 - Dec 2020
As VP Global Business Development, I led Global Strategic Partnerships for QuickBooks, and at the same time, the Global Developer Platform for Intuit. These are two different but connected businesses as the Developer Platform is the mechanism used to integrate with our strategic partners.
Global Strategic Partnerships is a $300M+ yearly business responsible for accelerating growth by establishing partnerships internationally with the small business ecosystem that surrounds QuickBooks. The team identifies the right ecosystem players and converts them into durable partnerships that drive non-user fee based revenues and expand Intuit’s addressable market.
The open Global Developer Platform enables over 40K+ third-party developers to create and deploy more than 10K+ applications that work in conjunction with Intuit's popular small business software, financial APIs and Intuit's App Store (www.apps.com). My role was to lead the overall Developer Platform team. My time with the team resulted in a new monetization strategy designed to drive exponential revenue growth with a target of $1B+ in the next five years.
KEY SUCCESSES:
► Delivered a new level of thought leadership, team building, and long-term strategic planning as VP of Global Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, & Global Developer Platform at Intuit, creating a scalable operating model that drove billions-of-dollars in revenue.
► Instilled confidence and positivity in the IDG platform team at Intuit, guiding them out of disarray to execute a powerful commercial vision with clarity and precision; results included surpassing all critical performance metrics while reaching 10K+ published QuickBooks Online applications and 42K+ new Developer accounts.

As Global Head of Strategy and Innovation for that business, I was accountable for ensuring the strategic alignment of GTS with the overarching goals of the enterprise. Product Innovation: Designed, negotiated and executed the first PINless ecommerce Debit transaction and pricing agreement in the US.
